Important Updates for Nailsea and Clevedon Residents:
North Somerset Council has implemented temporary traffic restrictions to facilitate the Eat Festival Events in Clevedon in 2025. The following measures will be in place for public safety and to ensure the smooth running of the events.
Key Details:
- Prohibition of Use by Vehicles – Specific roads will be temporarily closed to vehicles.
- No Parking, Waiting, or Loading Restrictions – Certain roads will have parking and waiting restrictions during the event.
- Revocation of One-Way Traffic – Some roads will temporarily operate as two-way to accommodate the events.
Clevedon Events:
Schedule 3: Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles
- Date: Saturday 4th October 2025
- Times: 07:00 – 19:00
- Affected Roads:
- Old Church Road: from the junction with Queens Road to the junction with The Triangle
- Station Road: from the junction with Kenn Road to the junction with Old Church Road
Schedule 4: Temporary No Parking, Waiting or Loading Restrictions
- Date: Saturday 4th October 2025
- Times: 07:00 – 19:00
- Affected Roads:
- Old Church Road: from the junction with Queens Road to the junction with The Triangle
- Marson Road: from the junction with Chapel Hill to outside No 12 (south side) & from the junction with Old Church Road to outside No 24 (west side)
- Station Road: from the junction with Kenn Road to the junction with Old Church Road
Schedule 5: Temporary Revocation of One Way
- Date: Saturday 4th October 2025
- Times: 07:00 – 19:00
- Affected Road:
- Marson Road: from the junction with Chapel Hill to outside No 3 (temporarily operating as two-way traffic)
Alternative Routes:
- Clevedon: Queens Road, Sunnyside Road, Lower Linden Road, Chapel Hill, Kenn Road, Great Western Road, Old Church Road
