Phased Road Closures: Walton Road, Clevedon

North Somerset Council has approved a temporary closure of Walton Road, Clevedon, to allow Wales & West Utilities to carry out essential gas main replacement works.

🛑 Closures will take place in phases between:

  • Tickenham Road (near 4 East Clevedon Triangle)

  • Valley Road (up to the rear of No.1 Conygar Close)

🚓 Access will be maintained for:

  • Emergency services

  • Residents with no alternative access

  • Authorised works vehicles

🚧 The order came into effect on 16 June 2025 and allows flexibility over 18 months, but the actual work is expected to last approximately 9 weeks starting from 28 July 2025. Temporary traffic signs will be in place to guide drivers during each phase.
