Traffic Measures: Temporary multi-way traffic lights

On behalf of the Hinkley Connection Project, we’re sharing advance notice of essential tree clearance works taking place on Clevedon Road, Tickenham. These works are being carried out at the request of North Somerset Council to remove several dead trees affected by Dutch Elm disease, which pose a safety risk due to their proximity to the road.

🚦 To complete the works safely, temporary traffic lights will be in place during working hours on both days.

To minimise disruption:

  • Work will take place outside peak travel hours

  • A Traffic Management Operative will monitor and manage the lights

  • Bus stops will remain open, with no major impact expected to bus services

🌲 The felled trees will be processed on site, and the timber delivered to the landowner.
