Community Transport

“Rural link”, is a minibus service aiming to connect commuters and school children with the X1, Yatton station, Clevedon and Bristol airport.

The service is funded for 1 year from WestLocal funding to see if it is something the local communities will support. The minibus is provided by Nailsea & District Community Transport who will operate the service. Initially the service will operate once in the morning starting at 7.30am from Wrington going via Cleeve, Claverham and Yatton to Clevdon and then back via the train station again to Congresbury and the airport and once in the evening leaving Bristol airport at 5pm to do the journey in reverse.

Nailsea and District Community Transport provides a door-to-door service for shopping, GP and Hospital appointments and over 100 fun days out. Our vehicles are wheelchair accessible and are equipped to make getting in and out easy for people who may struggle with accessing transport. We operate in the northeast half of North Somerset, covering Clevedon, Nailsea, Portishead, Long Ashton, Gordano, Felton, Yatton and all of the intervening villages and rural areas.
